In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazil's delivered meal kits and specialty foods app category saw varied performance across top applications, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a look at how the top 5 apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed a significant uptrend in downloads, climbing from 5K in late September to 7.7K by the end of December. Revenue also rose, starting at around $2.5K and reaching $3.7K in the last week of December. Weekly active users peaked at 63.7K mid-December, then slightly decreased to 61.7K.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery, despite not generating revenue for the quarter, experienced growth in downloads from a modest 128 in late September to 388 by Christmas. Weekly active users saw fluctuations, with a high of 3.4K in early November and ending the quarter at 3.1K.

Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery had a slow start with only a couple of downloads at the beginning of the quarter but surged to 469 by the end of December. The app's weekly active users mirrored this growth, starting at 221 and climbing to 675.

Green Chef: Healthy Recipes saw minimal download activity with a peak of 63 in the third week of November. The app maintained a small but steady user base throughout the quarter, with weekly active users reaching a high of 167 in the same November week and closing at 113.

Lastly, EveryPlate: Cooking Simplified showed modest download numbers, peaking at 95 in late September and ending at 21 in December. The weekly active users for EveryPlate peaked at 337 in early October, with a drop to 130 by the quarter's end.
